Optimizing Financial Performance and Governance, TINS Reports Net Profit of Rp1.31 Trillion 23 April 2026 SHARE JAKARTA -- PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk (IDX: TINS) recorded positive financial performance throughout 2025, posting a net profit of Rp1.31 trillion. President Director of PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk, Restu Widiyantoro, stated that this achievement is the result of the company's strategy to strengthen tin governance as well as optimize operational performance, marketing, and financial efficiency. "In 2025, the Company successfully recorded a net profit of Rp1.31 trillion, or 119 percent of the target set in the 2025 RKAP. The Company focused on strengthening tin governance, as well as optimizing operational, marketing, and financial performance," said Restu Widiyantoro. This positive performance is in line with the increase in global tin prices. Based on data from the London Metal Exchange (LME), the average tin price in 2025 reached USD 34,119.96 per ton, up 13 percent compared to the previous year at USD 30,177.45 per ton. In addition to increased profit, the company recorded revenue of Rp11.55 trillion, up 6.41 percent compared to Rp10.86 trillion in 2024. Operating profit reached Rp1.91 trillion, with EBITDA totaling Rp2.76 trillion. From a balance sheet perspective, total assets increased by 6.75 percent to Rp13.64 trillion from Rp12.78 trillion. The company's liabilities stood at Rp5.23 trillion, up 0.80 percent from Rp5.19 trillion. Meanwhile, equity rose 10.83 percent to Rp8.41 trillion from Rp7.59 trillion, in line with the profit recorded in 2025. This performance was supported by solid financial ratios, including a Quick Ratio of 60.6 percent, a Current Ratio of 242.8 percent, and a Debt to Equity Ratio of 18.7 percent. In 2025, the company also continued to implement efficiency measures and cost optimization by reducing fixed costs through selective investments in operational support to mitigate increasing depreciation expenses and maintain cash flow stability. In addition, the company reduced interest-bearing debt as part of its liability management strategy to lower interest expenses, including through the buyback of MTNs. On the operational side, PT TIMAH recorded tin ore production of 18,635 tons Sn, refined tin production of 17,815 metric tons, and refined tin sales of 16,634 metric tons. Throughout 2025, export markets remained the main contributor, accounting for 95 percent of total sales, with key destinations including Singapore, South Korea, Japan, the Netherlands, Italy, and China. The company contributed approximately 24 percent of Indonesia's total tin exports of 53,050 metric tons and around 3 percent of global tin exports totaling 371,369 metric tons. Operationally, the company continued to strengthen mining activities both on land and offshore. On land, PT TIMAH increased the number of mining points and enhanced exploration through scout drilling. Offshore, the company optimized the performance of Production Suction Dredgers (KIP) and improved processing effectiveness through SHP KIP and PIP facilities. PT TIMAH remains optimistic about continuing its positive performance this year, supported by favorable tin price prospects, which are projected to range between USD 33,500 and USD 48,750 per ton in 2026. This outlook is driven by increasing demand from the electronics industry, semiconductors, chips, digitalization, and artificial intelligence. On the supply side, tightening tin markets are influenced by limited supply from Indonesia, Myanmar, MSC, and the DRC, compounded by regulations, conflicts, and production maintenance. To capitalize on these opportunities, PT TIMAH has prepared several strategies for 2026, including accelerating production and optimizing reserves, expanding downstream processing and product diversification, advancing digital transformation and sustainability (ESG), continuous optimization and efficiency across all business lines, and improving the performance of subsidiaries, non-operating assets, and synergies to support the company's long-term sustainability.
