Digital-Based Archive Management, PT TIMAH's Commitment to Strengthening Corporate Governance 18 May 2026 SHARE PANGKALPINANG -- PT TIMAH continues to strengthen its commitment to building a sustainable company through various strategic initiatives, one of which is enhancing a modern, orderly, and integrated corporate archive management system. For PT TIMAH, archive management is not merely about document storage, but also an essential part of supporting good corporate governance, transparency, work efficiency, and the company's long-term business sustainability. As part of its corporate transformation, PT TIMAH continues to encourage archive digitalization to ensure that all company documents are well-documented, systematically organized, secure, and easily accessible. This initiative also supports greater efficiency in document management across the company. The strengthening of archive management has also been demonstrated through the implementation of the international standard ISO 30301:2019 Records Management System, which PT TIMAH successfully achieved as a reflection of its commitment to professional and sustainable corporate governance. PT TIMAH's commitment to archive management has also received national recognition. Previously, PT TIMAH's Archival Unit was accredited for archival administration with an AA (Excellent) Accreditation qualification for the 2023-2029 period. PT TIMAH also received an award from the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia as a State-Owned Enterprise ranked first with an AA "Highly Satisfactory" category for archival management among State-Owned Enterprises, based on the results of the 2022 archival supervision assessment. Previously, several State-Owned Enterprises had also visited PT TIMAH to directly observe the archive management processes implemented by the company. Department Head of Corporate Communication of PT TIMAH , Anggi Siahaan, stated that archive management plays a strategic role in supporting the company's sustainability. "Archive management is not only about document administration, but also an important part of preserving corporate memory, supporting transparency, improving efficiency, and ensuring sustainable business processes," he said. Through the strengthening of its archival system, PT TIMAH hopes to continue building a disciplined, accountable, and technology-adaptive work culture, while also supporting the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in the company's operations.
