Universal New Energy Holding Group, Inc. Announces UN38.3 Certification and Air, Sea, Road and Rail Transport Classification for Its 22Ah and 39Ah Semi-Solid-State Lithium-Ion Cells

The two high-energy-density cells, developed for drones, eVTOL aircraft, robotics and light electric vehicles, passed UN38.3 transportation safety testing. They also received dangerous-goods classification reports for all four transport modes, completing the documentation carriers and customers require before shipment.

Universal New Energy Holding Group, Inc. (OTC: UNEH) (the “Company”) announces that its 22Ah and 39Ah semi-solid-state lithium-ion cells have passed UN38.3 transportation safety testing. UN38.3 is part of the United Nations Manual of Tests and Criteria. It sets the safety tests that lithium cells must pass before they can be shipped. The tests simulate conditions cells face in transit, including high altitude, temperature changes, vibration, shock and short circuits. Both cells passed every test that applies to cells. Carriers also require a dangerous-goods classification before they accept lithium cells. With both documents in place, the Company can now ship both cells to customers in China and overseas. Customers can use them for validation programs and production supply.

The 22Ah cell (model ES5474172-22Ah) is rated at 3.8 V and 83.6 Wh. The 39Ah cell (model ES10690192-39Ah) is rated at 3.6 V and 140.4 Wh. Dongguan ZRLK Testing Technology Co., Ltd. performed the testing. Beijing DGM Air Transport Technology Development Co., Ltd., a CNAS-accredited inspection body, then issued dangerous-goods classification reports for both cells. The reports cover air, sea, road and rail transport.

Both cells belong to the Company’s semi-solid-state cell product line. The 22Ah, at ~500 Wh/kg, is designed for low-altitude applications where endurance is critical, such as high-end unmanned aerial vehicles and eVTOL aircraft. The 39Ah cell, at over 300 Wh/kg, is designed for light-duty vehicles, premium electric motorcycles, and logistics and agricultural drones. Customers in these fields have already tested the cells. The Company announced a strategic cooperation agreement with Tianqing Zhixing on September 14, 2026. It covers branded sales of semi-solid-state battery system products, including overseas exports. The Company believes that completing the transport documentation for both cells is a practical step from customer testing toward commercial supply.
