Universal New Energy Holding Group, Inc. Announces the Successful Application of Its High-Power Sodium-Ion Battery in the UNEH-N66 Emergency Jump Starter, a Consumer End Product Now on the Market

The 12V vehicle emergency jump starter with built-in tire inflator delivers a peak starting current of 1,000 amperes and is rated to start vehicles at temperatures as low as -50°C. Its core battery has been tested and verified by a national third-party testing institution, reaching 150C and 200C instantaneous discharge to deliver the jump starter’s powerful starts.

Universal New Energy Holding Group, Inc. (OTC: UNEH) (the “Company”) announces that its first consumer product powered by its high-power sodium-ion battery platform - a vehicle emergency jump starter with built-in tire inflator - is now on the market, and online sales have begun, initially in China. The product opens the Company’s first consumer revenue channel for its sodium-ion technology, marking the formal step of the Company’s sodium-ion battery technology from laboratory development into commercial sales.

Built around a 10,000 mAh sodium-ion battery, the product integrates 12V emergency jump starting (1,000-ampere peak current, 30 vehicle starts per full charge), a 160 psi smart tire inflator (preset pressure modes, automatic stop), a three-mode emergency light (including SOS and strobe warning), and USB phone charging, with status shown in real time on an LED display.

On the technology side, the 2.5 Ah high-power sodium-ion cell used in the product was verified in August 2026 by the Institute of Chemical Power Sources of Light Industry (轻工业化学电源研究所), a national third-party testing institution. The cell is designed not to ignite or explode, and the unit complies with applicable vehicle safety standards, so it can be stored in the car year-round. Because sodium resources are abundant and sodium carbonate costs only about 1/150th as much as lithium carbonate, the battery’s cathode material carries a significant cost advantage. The cell also stands out in low-temperature and high-rate performance: it is rated to start vehicles at -50°C, internal testing showed capacity retention above 80% at -40°C, and it delivers 100C continuous discharge and 150C/200C instantaneous discharge. Based on a review of publicly available information, the cell’s rate performance places the product in the leading tier of publicly reported sodium-ion batteries worldwide, opening a new revenue growth channel for the Company.
