NOTICE OF EMERGENCY BOARD MEETING OF SUNU ASSURANCES NIGERIA PLC TO DISCUSS RECAPITALIZATION PLANS

SUNU Assurances Nigeria Plc ("the Company") hereby notifies its esteemed shareholders, stakeholders, and the investing public that the Board of Directors will convene an Emergency Meeting on Friday, 30 January 2025.

The purpose of the meeting is to deliberate on urgent and strategic matters concerning the recapitalization of the Company, in line with regulatory requirements and the Company's longterm growth objectiVes.

Pursuant to the provisions of rule 17.18(a) Closed Period Rules, Rulebook of the Exchange, 2015 (As amended) (Issuers' Rules), the Company commenced a closed period effective 1 January 2026, for trading in its shares. The closed period will rbmain in effect until further notice.

Consequently, no insider of the Company and their connected persons shall deal in the securities of the Company, directly or indirectly when the trading window is closed.
