· Issued by Pt Bukit Asam (persero) Tbk
Jakarta, September 15, 2025 - As part of its commitment to supporting local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) has initiated the establishment and utilization of Rumah BUMN (State-Owned Enterprises Creative House) across its operational areas. Most recently, PTBA inaugurated the Pringsewu Regency Rumah BUMN in Pekon Panutan, Pagelaran District, on Thursday (September 11, 2025).
Through Rumah BUMN, PTBA provides training, mentoring, product promotion facilities, capacity building, and financial access to help MSMEs level up and enhance their competitiveness.
"We hope Rumah BUMN Pringsewu will be well-managed so it can serve as a center for MSME development and maximize local potential through synergy with the government and surrounding communities," said PTBA CSR AVP, Musatafa Kamal.
The inauguration ceremony, marked by a ribbon-cutting, tumpeng-cutting, and a tour of MSME booths, was also attended by Pringsewu Regent Riyanto Pamungkas, who expressed his appreciation and gratitude to PTBA for its significant contributions to community-oriented development in Pringsewu Regency. These include both physical and non-physical initiatives, such as the construction of a solar-powered irrigation pump in Pekon Lugusari in 2024.
"The Pringsewu Regency Government is targeting the creation of 3,000 young MSMEs with vibrant talent-MSMEs that not only thrive but also create job opportunities for their communities, with a minimum of 10 employees each," he said.
Riyanto acknowledged that MSMEs often face four main challenges: Capital, Management, Packaging, and Marketing. For MSMEs that have already grown, capital is no longer the top priority.
Therefore, according to him, what needs to be changed is the mindset-how MSMEs should not be seen as just side jobs. He hopes that the presence of the BUMN House can create synergy in developing MSMEs in Pringsewu Regency.
"May this initiative continue and grow stronger. Believe me, with just a cup of coffee and a light conversation, big ideas can be born-ideas that can move the local economy and inspire many people. I hope MSMEs in Pringsewu Regency will continue to flourish," Riyanto added.
Mustafa further noted that currently, 200 PTBA-supported MSMEs have joined Rumah BUMN Pringsewu. Moving forward, in line with the Regent's direction, PTBA also targets 3,000 MSMEs to be part of Rumah BUMN Pringsewu.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Assistant for Economy and Development Hendrid, Acting Head of the Industry and Trade Office Sulistiyo Ningsih, Expert Staff to the Regent of Pringsewu Zunianto, PT Bukit Asam Tbk Tarahan Port AVP of HR and General Affairs Hamdani, PT Bukit Asam Tbk Tarahan Port Senior Public Relations Yuliar Mansa, Syarifudin from BRI Regional Office Bandar Lampung, Head of Economy and Natural Resources Division of Pringsewu Regency Secretariat Idham Al-Bazami, Pagelaran Subdistrict Head M. Faozan, Pagelaran Police Chief Iptu Agus Darmawan, as well as local MSME entrepreneurs.
