On 17 July 2026, Mostostal Warszawa signed a contract with Regionalne Centrum Gospodarki Wodno-Ściekowej (RCGW) in Tychy for the construction of a year-round training ice rink on Sikorskiego Street. The facility will be built adjacent to Tychy Water Park, which was also delivered by Mostostal Warszawa as the general contractor. The contract, valued at PLN 40.8 million (gross), will be executed under the design and build formula.
- We have extensive experience in delivering sports and recreational facilities, both in Tychy and the region, where we built Tychy Water Park and the Municipal Stadium, as well as in other parts of Poland, including projects for the Central Sports Centre in Zakopane and TAURON Arena Kraków. The expertise and know-how of our teams give us every confidence that this investment will also be completed efficiently - said Marcin Sierpowski, Director of the Western Region at Mostostal Warszawa S.A.
A facility for year-round training
The project includes the construction of a modern, covered ice rink with a full-size 30 × 60 m ice surface and seating for approximately 160 spectators. It also covers the development of the necessary technical infrastructure and site improvements, including new parking spaces.

The new facility will serve both professional athletes and local residents. It will be used by ice hockey players, figure skaters, children and young people, as well as beginners learning to skate. The investment will further strengthen Tychy's sports infrastructure and provide improved conditions for year-round training.
Long-term presence in Tychy
For many years, Mostostal Warszawa has been delivering key projects in Tychy, helping to develop the city's sports, municipal and transport infrastructure. The company served as the general contractor for the Municipal Stadium and Tychy Water Park, modernised the city's bus depot, completed sanitary and stormwater sewerage works, and reconstructed the viaduct together with a pedestrian and cycling footbridge along Grota-Roweckiego Street over the railway line.
Construction of the year-round training ice rink is scheduled for completion by the end of 2028.
