ENGIE stands out in sustainability in the S&P Global 2026 ranking Holding 19 February 2026 Compartilhe ENGIE Brasil Energia has been recognized, for the second consecutive year, as one of the global leaders in sustainability in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026, a publication that highlights companies with the best ESG practices worldwide. In addition, the Company ranks among the Top 5% of the global electric power sector, consolidating its international reference position in energy transition and corporate governance. The selection is based on the CSA Score (Corporate Sustainability Assessment), which evaluated more than 8,551 companies across 59 sectors, of which only about 800 were included in this edition. The criteria assessed include corporate governance, environmental management, social practices, and sustainable performance throughout the business chain. "ENGIE's presence in global sustainability rankings confirms the consistency of our strategy and our leadership in the energy transition. With operational excellence and solid governance, we generate sustainable value and contribute to the development of the territories we are part of," says Thais Soares, Sustainability Director at ENGIE Brasil. In addition to international recognition, ENGIE Brasil Energia also stands out in the domestic market: - It is part of B3's Novo Mercado, a segment that brings together companies with the highest corporate governance standards; - It is one of the few companies included in the Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) since its creation in 2005, reinforcing its consistency in ESG practices; - In 2021, it joined the Efficient Carbon Index (ICO2), which brings together IBrX 100 companies with greater transparency in reporting Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions; - Since 2023, it has been part of IDIVERSA B3, the first index in Latin America focused on diversity and inclusion.
