ENGIE Brasil Energia reports adjusted net income of R$ 731 million in the third quarter of 2025 05 November 2025 Compartilhe São Paulo, November 5, 2025 - ENGIE Brasil Energia (EGIE3) closed the third quarter of 2025 with adjusted net income of R$ 731 million, a result 9.8% higher than in the same period of the previous year. Performance was driven by efficient operational management, increased volume of energy traded, and the performance of generation and transmission projects. During the quarter, the Company also posted solid financial results, with net operating revenue of R$ 3.3 billion, a 31.8% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Adjusted EBITDA reached R$ 1.9 billion, up 12.4%. This performance reflects the success of corporate discipline and the continued progress of ENGIE Brasil Energia's projects under development in the country. New Projects and Operational Advances The Company significantly expanded its sustainable growth strategy with the progress of new developments in Brazil. The Serra do Assuruá Wind Complex (BA) , ENGIE's largest wind farm in the world, completed the assembly and commissioning of all 188 wind turbines, totaling 846 MW of installed capacity, with energy allocated to the Free Contracting Environment (ACL). The project received an investment of R$ 6 billion and is awaiting the issuance of the Commercial Operation dispatches by the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) for the start of operation of the last three plants that make up the Complex. Another highlight is the development of the Assú Sol Solar Complex (RN) . Construction reached 99.5% completion by the end of September, with four plants in commercial operation and 12 in testing. The complex totals 752 MWac of installed capacity and is expected to be fully operational in the first quarter of 2026. It is one of the largest solar projects in the country, with an investment of R$ 3 billion. In the transmission sector, Asa Branca Energy Transmission obtained the Preliminary License from IBAMA (Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources) for one of its segments and respective substations, in addition to expanding civil and mechanical works. The project will span approximately 1,000 kilometers and strengthen the infrastructure for renewable energy flow from the Northeast. Investments in Asset Modernization During this period, ENGIE Brasil Energia invested a total of R$ 3.6 billion, reflecting its ongoing commitment to expanding and modernizing its asset portfolio in Brazil. Of this amount, R$ 2.9 billion was allocated to the acquisition of the Santo Antônio do Jari and Cachoeira Caldeirão Hydroelectric Plants in Amapá. Approximately R$ 542 million was invested in the construction of new projects, including Asa Branca Energy Transmission , Assú Sol Solar Complex , Serra do Assuruá Wind Complex , Graúna Energy Transmission , and Paracatu IV Solar Plant . Additionally, R$ 70 million was directed to maintenance and revitalization of the generation park, and R$ 12 million to modernization projects for the Jaguara and Ponte de Pedra Hydroelectric Plants . Expansion of the Energy Trading Segment During the quarter, the Company recorded a 17.6% growth in its client portfolio compared to the same period last year. This result was driven by new sales transactions (excluding trading operations), which totaled 4,668 average MW of energy traded, a volume 15.3% higher than in the third quarter of 2024. The performance reinforces ENGIE's strong commercial results, anchored in the delivery of sustainable solutions.
