About this update from Engie Brasil Energia S.a.

ENGIE Brasil Energia grows 14.6% in revenue and invests R$ 6 billion in 2025 25 February 2026 Compartilhe São Paulo, February 25, 2026 - ENGIE Brasil Energia (EGIE3) closed 2025 reporting solid growth, driven by new projects in renewable energy and expansion in power transmission. Net operating revenue reached R$ 12.9 billion, an increase of 14.6% over 2024, sustained by a robust generation portfolio and the progress in energy transmission projects. As for the consolidated figures for the year, adjusted Ebitda totaled R$ 7.6 billion, growth of 3.7% compared with 2024, notably considering the contribution from the power transmission segment due to the increase in revenue from the assets as well as the combination of variation in energy volume sold and average net sales price in the generation segment. Adjusted net income amounted to R$ 2.8 billion, a decrease of 15.6% compared to the preceding year, largely due to the greater impact of the negative net financial result and an increase in depreciation and amortization but partially compensated by a higher adjusted Ebitda and reduction in income tax. The Board of Directors approved the proposal for distribution of mandatory and complementary dividends worth R$ 557.8 million, equivalent to R$ 0.49 per share. Progress was also made in the discussion of the potential transfer of the 40% stake held by ENGIE Brasil Participações in Jirau Energia to ENGIE Brasil Energia with the installation of the Special Independent Committee for Transactions with Related Parties, set up to advise and monitor analyses of an eventual transfer. Operational expansion During the year, the Company invested R$ 6 billion in the acquisition of new hydropower assets, in modernization work, the implementation of projects and generator park revitalization. ENGIE was also able to report projects directed towards the expansion of energy generation and transmission portfolios. One outstanding example was the Serra do Assuruá Wind Complex (BA) consisting of 188 wind turbines distributed across 24 wind farms, ENGIE's largest onshore wind power project anywhere in the world. With an installed capacity of 846 MW, the operation entered full commercial operation in December. In the same month, work was concluded on the ENGIE Group's largest solar project in operation worldwide, the Assú Sol Photovoltaic Plant (RN), its installed capacity of 895 MWp (753 MWac) equivalent to a 229.6 average MW commercial capacity totally earmarked to the Free Energy Market. A further milestone during the year was the acquisition of the Santo Antônio do Jari (AP) and Cachoeira Caldeirão (PA) hydropower plants. Together, these enterprises were instrumental in adding a further 612 MW to installed capacity in the Company´s nationwide generator park of 12.4 GW. The transaction involved a total investment of approximately R$ 2.9 billion. As for transmission infrastructure, ENGIE Brasil Energia is already operating with 3.2 thousand kilometers of lines. In 2025, it delivered 334 km of the Asa Branca Transmissora de Energia (BA) project as well as taking over the operation of the 162-kilometer Graúna Transmissora de Energia (MG and ES), both projects lending additional predictability and stability to the segment's revenue stream. "In 2025, we continued to pursue a policy of rigorous financial management together with the creation of value, focused on investment directed towards the sustainable expansion of the businesses in Brazil. Such investments reflect a consistent strategy for allocating capital centered on the acquisition of quality assets, on the implementation of new projects and the modernization and revitalization of the generator park", says Pierre Leblanc, Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer of the Company. Commercialization of energy In the energy commercialization segment, ENGIE Brasil Energia recorded a volume of 4,559 average MW in 2025, 11% greater than negotiated in 2024. The Company expanded its customer base by about 24% during the year, while in the same period, the number of customer units posted a 24% year-on-year increase. "We have made consistent progress in expanding generation and transmission, increasing our installed capacity and reinforcing the predictability of results. Our commitment is to grow sustainably, diversify our portfolio, ensure the viability of the energy transition, and contribute to the country's energy security, always with innovation and social and environmental responsibility," Eduardo Sattamini, ENGIE Brasil's Chief Executive Officer remarks.
