The company acquired Lot 2 and sublots 3A, 3B, 3C, and 3D, consolidating its national expansion strategy with new concessions in the states of Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Norte, and Ceará. The acquisition was carried out through its wholly-owned subsidiary ENGIE Transmissão de Energia Participações S.A. The lot 2 and the sub-lots 3A, 3B, 3C and 3D for which EBE made its winning bid, involves an Annual Allowed Revenue (RAP) of R$ 122.7 million and a total investment estimated by ANEEL worth R$ 1.5 billion, with the potential to create approximately 4.500 jobs. The bid was carried out with the aim of expanding the transmission infrastructure and strengthening the security of the national electricity system, reducing operational restrictions and promoting the use of renewable energy sources Information on the lots With the acquisition of Lot 2 , the Company will be responsible for constructing a transmission line connecting the states of Paraná and Santa Catarina. The project covers a stretch of 143 kilometers at an investment estimated by ANEEL at over R$ 193 million. The project aims to expand the transmission system's capacity in the region. The estimated period for implementation is 42 months. Lot 3 concentrates the largest volume of investments in the auction and foresees contributions exceeding R$ 1.3 billion for the construction of five synchronous condensers in the states of Rio Grande do Norte and Ceará. The project was divided into four sub-lots, and ENGIE will be responsible for the works in sub-lot 3A , which includes the implementation of the synchronous condensers at the Ceará-Mirim II substation, in Rio Grande do Norte, with an estimated investment of R$ 285 million. Sub-lot 3B foresees the construction of the synchronous condensers at the Quixadá substation, in Ceará, with an estimated investment of R$ 272 million. Sub-lot 3C covers the implementation at the Morada Nova substation, in Ceará, with an investment estimated at more than R$ 538 million. Sub-lot 3D includes the construction of the condenser at the Açu III substation, in Rio Grande do Norte, with an approximate investment of R$ 285 million. The expected deadline for completion of the works is up to 42 months. The term of the transmission public service concession(s) - which covers the stages of licensing, construction, operation, and maintenance of the facilities - will be 30 years, counted from the date of contract signing. The Company also plans to anticipate the delivery of the awarded projects, reinforcing its commitment to operational efficiency and meeting deadlines. ENGIE Brasil's operations in the transmission segment ENGIE Brasil has been expanding its presence in the transmission segment and, as of December 2025, operated 3,787 kilometers of transmission lines, in addition to nine proprietary substations in different regions of the country. Highlights include the Novo Estado (PA and TO), Gralha Azul (PR), and Graúna Brownfield (ES) systems. Over the past year, the Company took over, in July, the operation with its own team of the brownfield portion of the Graúna project, with an extension of 163 kilometers and two company-owned substations, in the state of Espírito Santo, and started operation, in November, the first section of the Asa Branca project, with 334 kilometers of extension in southern Bahia. In addition, the Company made progress in the implementation of these two large-scale transmission systems: the three remaining sections of the Asa Branca project, located in Bahia, Minas Gerais, and Espírito Santo, totaling 666 kilometers, and the Graúna project, across the states of Santa Catarina, Paraná, Minas Gerais, and São Paulo, with a total length of 738 kilometers. Together, these projects will add approximately 1,900 kilometers of transmission lines to the Brazil's national power system, contributing to energy flow optimization and to enhancing grid resilience.
