The Indonesian Circular Economy Award (ICEA) 2025 is a strategic initiative by the ICEST (Indonesia Circular Economy Sustainability) Institute to recognize and promote circular economy practices in Indonesia. The ICEST Institute has also partnered with organizations such as the National Standardization Agency (BSN) and Bappenas . PT Kaltim Prima Coal received six awards at the Indonesian Circular Economy Award (ICEA) 2025 on 18 November 2025, held at the Grand Mercure Hotel Bali. The awards are as follows: The Top Corporate Leadership in Circular Economy Platinum Award for KPC Cares for Water - From Water to Prosperity (Macro Level) Platinum Award for Synergy of Local Partners to Support Sustainability Through the Provision of Reclamation Seeds (Macro Level) Gold Award for Utilization of Mining Wastewater to Substitute Surface Water and Groundwater at PT Kaltim Prima Coal (Meso Level) Gold Award for Utilization of Used Oil as a Substitute for Diesel Fuel Raw Materials in the Manufacture of Explosive Mixtures (Meso Level) Silver Award for Utilization of Used Tires as Erosion Control at the Reclamation Site (Tire Drop Structure) of PT Kaltim Prima Coal (Meso Level) Kris Pranoto, General Manager of HSES KPC, stated: "This award is not only a token of appreciation, but also a confirmation that circular economy transformation in the mining industry is truly possible.
