EL5-Energo obtained a certificate of readiness for the 2025-2026 heating season

Moscow, November 17, 2025 - PJSC EL5-Energo obtained a Certificate of operational readiness for the 2025-2026 heating season. All the company's power plants: Konakovskaya GRES, Nevinnomysskaya GRES, Sredneuralskaya GRES, the Azov and Kola Wind Farms were stated to be ready to carry maximum loads in the autumn-winter period. This solution is available on the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation website.

The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation assessed the facilities in accordance with the approved Methodology for calculating the Readiness Index of power plant equipment for operation in the heating season based on the company's indicators within the framework of industry reporting, as well as the data provided by the System Operator and Rostechnadzor. Based on the assessment results, the Readiness Index of PJSC EL5-Energo for the heating season was equal to 98 (Ready).

The Company's power plants developed and implemented a set of measures aimed at ensuring system reliability and process safety during peak load periods and in the conditions of low outdoor temperatures. Scheduled overhauls and medium repairs of main equipment, repairs of auxiliary equipment, repairs of buildings and structures were completed on time and in full scope, a range of work was performed to extend the service life of heat-mechanical and electrical equipment, maintenance of process and relay protection devices, network emergency and mode automation, inspection and adjustment of building heating systems, insulation and repair of glazing, a stock of main and reserve fuel was made, and a set of spare parts and materials was provided. Hydraulic tests of the power plants' network water pipelines, testing of the water intake heating system of the onshore pump houses, steam heating system of the intake chambers of circulating pumps, as well as repair and cleaning of filters of fuel oil pumps and heaters operating in the heating scheme were carried out at the plants.

During the preparation for the heating season, special attention was paid to the personnel readiness: training and knowledge checks were carried out in terms of compliance with the labour, industrial and fire safety standards. A special training programme was carried out for the employees from among the operational and maintenance personnel. In the course of special emergency training involving specialists of Ministry of Emergency Situations and medical staff, actions for the correct response in emergency situations and low temperatures were practised on a quarterly basis. Provision of personnel with protective clothing, footwear and necessary personal protective equipment was checked at all power plants.
