Holes SC06-57 to SC06-61 were all drilled on the same section with an
approximate 20 metre vertical spacing between the intercepts in the holes.
The new zone will be named the "Jon Bergvinson" Zone, or the "Berg" zone
for short, in recognition of Mr. Bergvinson's ten years as President of Omni
Resources Inc., one of the predecessor companies to Tagish, and the Company
that initially discovered the high grade Skukum Creek gold-silver deposit. He
is also the person who negotiated on behalf of Omni in the amalgamation to
form Tagish.
Holes SC06-57 to SC06-61 indicate that the Berg zone may join the Rainbow
Two zone below the 1300m level. The zone has many of the same characteristics
as the other zones at Skukum Creek, including high grade gold and silver
values. Clearly, additional drilling will be necessary to determine the
significance of the Berg zone.
The 2006 drilling program is under the supervision of Christopher Naas,
P.Geo, of CME Managing Consultants Inc., a qualified person under NI 43-101.
The core is sawed in half, with one half stored for future reference. Sampling
and assaying procedures are subject to a rigorous QA/QC program, which
includes insertion of standards and blanks for each batch of samples. All
samples were shipped in sealed packages to Eco-Tech Laboratories in Kamloops,
BC for preparation and analyses. Samples which returned values greater than
900 ppb Gold (Au) by ICP were fire assayed for gold.
