Holes SC06-79 & SC06-80 were drilled on the same section as holes SC06-48
to SC06-51 previously reported (See News Releases of July 27, July 31 and
August 11, 2006) to intercept the Rainbow Two Zone above and below these
holes.
Holes SC06-81 to SC06-85 were drilled on a section located some twenty
(20) metres east of the section with holes SC06-48 to SC06-51, and the holes
were drilled with an approximate 20 metre vertical spacing between the
intercepts in the holes.

The significant intercepts are:

Robert Rodger, President of Tagish Lake Gold Corp. said, "As indicated in
Hole SC06-80, the Rainbow Two Zone appears to pinch out above the 1300m
elevation on that section, but carries high values below this elevation. The
drilling remaining in the program will help to outline the Rainbow Two zone.
The intersection of the Berg Zone in Holes SC06-79 and SC06-83 suggest
that the zone plunges to the east below the 1300m elevation."
The 2006 drilling program is under the supervision of Christopher Naas,
P.Geo, of CME Managing Consultants Inc., a qualified person under NI 43-101.
The core is sawed in half, with one half stored for future reference. Sampling
and assaying procedures are subject to a rigorous QA/QC program, which
includes insertion of standards and blanks for each batch of samples. All
samples were shipped in sealed packages to Eco-Tech Laboratories in Kamloops,
BC for preparation and analyses. Samples which returned values greater than
900 ppb Gold (Au) by ICP were fire assayed for gold.
