Holes SC06-68 & SC06-69 were drilled on the same section as holes SC06-65
to SC06-67 previously reported (See News Release of September 27, 2006).
Holes SC06-70 to SC06-72 were drilled on the same section as hole SC06-73
previously reported (See News Release of October 25, 2006). The section is
located forty (40) metres east of the section with holes SC06-65 to SC06-69,
and the holes were drilled with an approximate 20 metre vertical spacing
between the intercepts in the holes.
Robert Rodger, President of Tagish Lake Gold Corp. stated "High grade
intersections continue to be encountered in the Rainbow Two zone. These holes
are located in a part of the Rainbow Two zone where narrower widths have
previously been intersected."
The 2006 drilling program is under the supervision of Christopher Naas,
P.Geo, of CME Managing Consultants Inc., a qualified person under NI 43-101.
The core is sawed in half, with one half stored for future reference. Sampling
and assaying procedures are subject to a rigorous QA/QC program, which
includes insertion of standards and blanks for each batch of samples. All
samples were shipped in sealed packages to Eco-Tech Laboratories in Kamloops,
BC for preparation and analyses. Samples which returned values greater than
900 ppb Gold (Au) by ICP were fire assayed for gold.
