Kevin is an economic geologist with more than 40 years of field experience across the Americas, having worked for the Ontario Geological Survey, Geological Survey of Canada and Barrick Gold. Kevin has, for the last 17 years, been involved with junior exploration companies and was a founding member of Aldebran and its sister company Regulus, as well as the management team's previous junior, Antares Minerals. [00:33] Speaker 1: Kevin directed the exploration that led to the discovery of Antares' high-grade Hacquiera East deposit in southern Peru, which was sold to 1st Quantum Minerals in December of 2010 for $650 million. The same management team is now executing their same strategy to add value to Aldebaran's Altar Copper Gold Project in San Juan province, Argentina.
