Gold Gems: Junior Explorers Poised for Success

John Sclodnick has worked in equity research for over a decade, most recently leading the mining equity research team at Desjardins Capital Markets since 2021. He has covered primarily precious metals companies, with a range of development stages from exploration to large cap producers. Over that time, he has developed strong relationships with institutional investors and mining industry professionals. Mr. Sclodnick holds a B.A. in Economics and Philosophy from Dalhousie University, and an M.B.A. from the Schulich School of Business where he graduated from the Global Mining Management program.

Mr. Skanderbeg was most recently President and CEO of Claude Resources Inc. since November 2014 – which was acquired by Silver Standard Resources Inc. for $337 million. He previously worked for Goldcorp, Inco Ltd. and Helio Resources, holding positions in both exploration and operations. Mr. Skanderbeg is also a director of Wesdome Mines. He holds a B.Sc. from the University of Manitoba and an M.Sc. from Rhodes University, South Africa. He brings extensive experience in the exploration and evaluation of gold systems, operational management, cost and asset optimization and strategic analysis.

Mr. Sean Kingsley is a seasoned entrepreneur and capital markets strategist at the intersection of mining, finance, and communication. With over 18 years of specialized experience, he has established a reputation for successfully financing and advancing resource companies on a global scale. He has a proven track record in corporate development, strategic marketing, and investor relations, with a deep understanding of financial markets and a talent for crafting narratives that resonate with both institutional and retail investors. Mr. Kingsley serves here as President & CEO, President & CEO of Mango Research & Management Inc., and as a Director of Star Copper Corp., Pan American Energy Corp., and Vulcan Resources (within the Metals Group). Beyond his corporate leadership, he is deeply committed to advancing the mineral exploration sector. He served as Chair of the Association for Mineral Exploration BC’s Member & Public Outreach Committee from 2014 to 2018 and remains an active member today. Since 2016, he has also contributed to the Executive, Financial and Advisory Council for the Centre of Training Excellence in Mining, supporting workforce development and industry education. A forward-thinking innovator in investor engagement, Mr. Kingsley is also the President of Investor.Events, a company that curates unique, experience-focused global events that move beyond the traditional boardroom.
