Mr. Ackert began his career as a regional geologist with St. Joe Minerals, Bond Gold Canada and LAC Minerals in the 1980s. In 1990 he became mine geologist at LAC Minerals’ Golden Patricia Mine (Barrick Gold Corp after 1994) where he specialized in production and exploration. In 1996 he was appointed VPEx for Orezone Resources Inc. focusing on West Africa and was subsequently named VP Technical Services in 2005.
Mr. Ackert was a co-founder of C3 Metals, a successful explorer for copper in Peru and Jamaica where several significant porphyries and skarns have been discovered.
Mr. Ackert holds a BSc. In Geology from the University of Toronto.

Why don't we start with you walking us through the most significant developments this summer Speaker 1: across Cascades portfolio Speaker 1: and what has you most excited heading into fall? Speaker 2: Kyle, thanks for the invite and a pleasure to be here once again. Speaker 2: And what I'll do is I'll just, I'll start with some of the successes we've had on the ground with the company. Speaker 2: 1st and foremost was Speaker 2: our Speaker 2: CentreFire project in Ontario. Speaker 2: We've got so many projects, it's hard to keep track of them all. Speaker 2: CentreFire in Ontario, Speaker 2: this spring we were able to get out and do a high definition Speaker 2: airborne geophysics of magnetic survey on the property. Speaker 2: And this was significant because we had expanded Speaker 2: our, our Speaker 2: claim base Speaker 2: from the initial Speaker 2: core project area, and we need to get some more information on it. So we were able to fly this area and came up with some extremely good looking geophysics that basically tells us that we're in the same Speaker 2: trend as where we've got mineralization on the core Speaker 2: claims.
