SLC Agrícola was recognized in first place in the Best of ESG 2026 Award, presented by Exame magazine, in the Agribusiness category. The awards ceremony took place on May 26 in São Paulo and was attended by Álvaro Dilli (HR and Sustainability Director), Leonardo Celini (Operations Director), Tiago Agne (Sustainability Manager), Vanessa Rosa (Environmental Specialist), Ana Neri (Communications Analyst) and representatives from partner companies.
This is the fifth year in a row that SLC Agrícola has been recognized in the awards, which celebrate companies for their actions in social responsibility, environmental stewardship, and governance. According to Álvaro Dilli, this recognition underscores the strength of the Company's initiatives and further demonstrates SLC Agrícola's commitment to more sustainable and responsible production.

This achievement demonstrates the Company's resilient stance in the face of climate challenges and reinforces that we are on the right path. With our strategic and responsible approach, we have a clear ambition: to neutralize Scopes 1 and 2 emissions by 2030."
At the ceremony, the executive also shared the progress of the Company's ESG goals. "We already have four of our units with a negative carbon balance, which shows the tangible progress of our initiatives. If there is one industry capable of removing carbon from the atmosphere, it is agricultural production. It is in the soil that we promote biodiversity and develop a more resilient, sustainable, responsible, and certified agriculture. We invest in people, education, and the development of the small communities surrounding our 26 units."

The Best in ESG is the evolution of the traditional EXAME Sustainability Guide, one of Brazil's main guides on social responsibility for over two decades. The publication was created in 2000, as Exame Guide to Good Corporate Citizenship, and was renamed as the topic evolved in society. In 2020, the methodology was revamped to give more emphasis to ESG criteria.
