DELAY IN SUBMISSION OF AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2025 AND UNAUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE FIRST QUARTER ENDING 31 MARCH 2026
Regency Alliance Insurance Plc (the Company) wishes to inform Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), its shareholders and the investing public that our Actuaries are still working on the valuation report to be incorporated into the Audited Financial Statements (AFS) for the year ended 31 December 2025.
The effect of this is that the Company is not likely to be in the position to file its Audited Financial Statements (AFS) for the year ended 31 December 2025 and the Unaudited Financial Statements for the first quarter ending 31 March 2026 (2026 Q1 UFS) within the stipulated period.
The Actuaries are currently working with the External Auditors to ensure completion of the valuation report to be incorporated in the audited financial statements.
The Company expects to be in a position to submit both reports on or before Friday, 30th June 2026.
We reiterate our Company's commitment to filing all regulatory returns within the stipulated period and wish to assure our shareholders and the investing public that necessary steps have been taken to ensure the reports are filed as indicated.
The Company regrets any inconveniences the delay might cause our shareholders and the investing public.
