NOTICE OF DELAY IN FILLING AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEI•IENT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31ST DECEI IBER 2025 AND THE UNAUDITED FINANCIAL STATEF1ENT FOR THE FIRST QUARTER ENDED 31ST NARCH 2026
This is to inform all Shareholders of Regency Alliance Insurance Plc (the Company), the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and the general public of the continued delay in filing the Audited Financial Statements of the Company for the year ended 31 December 2025 (2025 AFS) and the Unaudited Financial Statements for the first quarter ended 31 March 2026 (2026 Q1 UFS) as required by the Rules of NGX.
The delay in filing the 2025 AFS is due to the fact that the adjusted financial statements have been forwarded to the External Auditors for their attestation and signing after which the 2025 AFS will be forwarded to the National Insurance Commission (NIACOM) for approval.
Upon receipt of the approval of the 2025 AFS by NAICON, the Company will file both the 2025 AFS and the 2026 Q1 UFS via the Issuers' portal on or before the 31 st August 2026.
The delay is highly regretted and the Company wishes to assure the NGX and our esteemed Shareholders and the general public that necessary steps have been taken to ensure there is no such delays in the future.
