REGENCY AI LIANCE INSURANCE PLC COMPLIANCE WITH PAYMENT OF STATUTORY DEPOSIT AS PROVIDED BY NIIRA 2025 CAPITAL REQUIREMENTS
Regency Alliance Insurance Plc ("Regency") is pleased to inform our esteemed shareholders, stakeholders and the investing public that Regency on Friday the 29th day ofMay 2026 complied fully with the statutory deposit requirement prescribed under the Nigerian Insurance Industry Reform Act (NIIRA) 2025.
Regency made a statutory deposit of N1.2billion to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on the above mentioned date and now has a total statutory deposit balance to II.5billion, iepiesennng 10% of the minimum capital requirement applicable to non-life insurance companies.
The compliance with the required statutory deposit is significant step in Regency's recapitalisation effort and confirms our commitment to ensuring Regency is fully iecapitalised before the regulatory deadline set.
