Punktid Technologies AS announces that the company's subsidiary(Gamekeys OÜ), which also operates Punktid's digital business, has launched an e-commerce platform for physical products. The new business line expands the company's current business focused on the sale of digital products and creates a basis for the expansion of the company's e-commerce offering into new product categories.
The new e-commerce platform will bring together thousands of physical products in various categories upon launch. The company estimates that the existing supplier infrastructure and partner network will allow it to expand the product range to several hundred thousand products in the coming months.
The creation of the physical product sales environment has drawn on the more than 16 years of experience of the Punktid group in developing e-commerce technologies, payment solutions and customer service. The company's management board has been operating in the field of digital product sales since 2009 and during this time has created an extensive customer base and partner network.
The supply chains and technical infrastructure of the new business line have been built with the aim of enabling rapid expansion into international markets. The company's supplier network is located in several European countries, which creates favorable conditions for expanding the physical products sales platform across Europe. The company's customer base, which has been developed over the years, also allows it to use existing marketing and sales channels to open new markets.
The addition of physical products complements the company's existing digital business and allows it to offer customers a wider range of products under the same brand. According to the company, the new direction allows it to use the existing customer base, network of partners and suppliers, and support the further growth of the company's e-commerce business.
Management's comment
According to the company's management, launching e-commerce for physical products is a logical step in the company's development, which has been requested by customers for a long time. The experience in the field of digital e-commerce to date and the network of partners and suppliers developed over the years allow it to expand its business more easily.
When opening a new business line, we estimate that the retail sales volume will increase by approximately EUR 500,000 this year and by approximately EUR 1,000,000 next year to the existing digital sales volume. Based on this forecast, we expect the group's business volume to double.
