emp PressRelease EMP has fully control of the Kangean gas asset through the acquisition of JAPEX's 25% stake Jakarta, 25 November 2o25 PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk ( " EMP " or " the Company " ) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of a 25% participating interest in the ltangean PSC ( " ltangean " ) in East Java from Japan Petroleum Exploration Co. Ltd. (JAPEX). With this transaction finalized, EMP is now the sole owner and operator of lfangean through its subsidiaries. Syailendra S. Bal‹rie, EMP's CEO Lt President Director, stated, " We have strong confidence in ltangean's long-term potential, particularly the Rancal‹ and West ltangean gas fields. We are preparing to advance the ltancal‹ development program, including the drilling of three development wells, and will intensify exploration activities in West ltangean to further verify its potential.
