Women In Mining: Champions of Change

Anne Lewis is the Executive Director of the Yukon Mining Alliance, which represents the leading Yukon mineral exploration and mining companies, in partnership with the Government of Yukon and community and Industry collaborators, promotes awareness of Yukon’s mineral sector as one of the world’s most geopolitically safe and geological endowed jurisdictions to strengthen investment for the Territory and the companies. As Founder & President of CSR Management Inc, Anne has 15 years’ experience working in Yukon and on projects locally, nationally and internationally. Her clients and projects have ranged across industry sectors and include leading projects in collaboration with Yukon minerals sector companies, organizations and industry partners, including Yukon First Nations Governments and Development Corporations, communities and businesses, NGOs, and various levels of Territorial and Federal departments in Canada. She is also the Founder and President of Yukon Women in Mining and Strategist and Project Manager for the Yukon First Nation Chamber of Commerces Arctic Indigenous Investment Conference (AIIC).

Bianca Pisciola is a co-founder and CRO of 6ix, a capital markets technology platform. Through 6ix, she has deployed data-driven investor relations technology for more than 100 public mining companies, including Endeavour Mining and McEwen Mining. Bianca is on the founding team of Save Canadian Mining, an advocacy group dedicated to reinstating the tick test within Canadian capital markets. Other members of the founding team include Eric Sprott, Rob McEwen, Keith Neumeyer, Sean Roosen, and other leaders of the industry. She also sits on the board of One Silver Lining, a Canadian non-profit organization she founded, supporting youth through conferences, benefit concerts, TEDx talks, and scholarships.

Siloni Waraich is a risk management professional, with deep expertise in governance, brand reputation management, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory affairs. Her 25+ years of professional work have spanned such diverse subject matters as agriculture, home building, health and safety compliance, mining and mental health services. She currently acts as a strategic advisor to mining companies and not-for-profit associations. Siloni has an M.B.A. specializing in Organizational Effectiveness, has achieved the Business Sustainability Management Certificate from Cambridge University, and is currently a candidate for the Global ESG Competent Boards Designation.
