Mr. Penny is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 30 years of experience in financial management, strategic planning and financial reporting. Formerly, Mr. Penny was the Executive Vice President and CFO of New Gold Inc., a multi-national mining company, from 2009 until 2017; the Vice President of Finance and CFO of Kinross Gold Corporation, one of the world's largest gold producers from 1993 until 2004; the CFO of Western Goldfields Inc. from 2006 to 2009; and the CFO of Silver Bear Resources Plc from 2005 to 2009. Mr. Penny also formerly served as a member of the Board of Directors of Equinox Minerals Limited from 2004 to 2011 when it was acquired by Barrick Gold Corporation; Alamos Gold Inc. from 2005 to 2008; and Baffinland Iron Mines Limited from 2004 to 2008. Mr. Penny obtained his Diploma in Business-Accounting and Finance from Cambrian College and is a CPA, CMA.

Mr. Petersen is an economic geologist with over 35 years of experience in precious and base metals exploration and development. His background includes a variety of successful assignments ranging from early stage exploration and discovery, resource delineation and development, mine site reserves growth and replacement, and providing technical expertise to corporate development initiatives. Mr. Petersen was Vice President of Exploration for Calibre Mining from 2020 through 2021 where he helped lead the company’s transition from junior explorer to mid-tier gold producer. From 2008 through 2018 Mr. Petersen was Vice President of Exploration for New Gold Inc. where he was responsible for shaping and executing the company’s exploration and growth strategy across its diverse portfolio of mining operations and assets in the Americas and Australia. Formerly, Mr. Petersen was Vice President of Exploration for Metallica Resources where he had worked since 1995, and for the 11 years prior, he worked as an exploration geologist with Lac Minerals Inc. and its predecessor companies Bond Gold Inc. and St. Joe Gold Inc. Mark is a Certified Professional Geologist (P. Geo.) and holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science Degrees in Geology and a Master's Degree in Business Administration.
