What I'd like to do is give an overview of the key elements that have influenced our performance over f y twenty three, followed by some details around a handful of new initiatives that we have developed as part of our business review, and then an update on our q one trading and areas of focus for this current financial year. I know that everyone is well aware of the challenges that the business has faced over the past eighteen months. Many of these have been well documented with high levels of inflation, ever increasing interest in mortgage rates, and spiraling energy costs contributing to increased cost inputs, which in turn have put pressure on margins. As everyone is also aware, we're dealing with a relatively subdued level of consumer confidence right now with customers less willing to order quite as frequently as they have over previous years.
