Fifi Masuka Saini
Governor at Lualaba Province, DRC

Governor Fifi Masuka Saini was recently re-elected as Governor of the Lualaba Province in the DRC, home to some of the world's major mining projects. The Governor previously served in an Acting capacity and has been a major proponent of trade and investment, while leading major infrastructure initiatives.
From entrepreneurship to management and onto politics, Fifi Masuka, mother of four, has cultivated a winning culture. Her first steps in politics were taken within the Movement for the Liberation of Congo (MLC) led by Jean-Pierre Bemba, initially as an activist before moving up the ranks.
She later created her own party, FIDEC, joining the presidential majority of President Joseph Kabila in the 2011 legislature. After the division of some provinces, she was appointed as deputy special commissioner, alongside principal Richard Mueyej.
They were re-elected for the 2018 elections, before Governor Fifi Masuka Saini began her leadership of the province.
