Sasha Jacob

Sasha Jacob is the Chairman & CEO of Jacob Capital Management Inc. a merchant bank focused on the renewable power and infrastructure sectors. Sasha brings over 20 years of experience in the power sector, including founding and leading the power and infrastructure practice at a leading Canadian investment bank, as well as several years in senior political positions with the Ontario Minister of Energy. He was the first investment banker to focus on renewable energy in Canada and has managed over 100 transactions in the renewable sector valued at more than $8 billion. Sasha was recognized by Institutional Investor as one of the “5 Most Influential Emerging Players in Renewable Energy†globally.
Sasha holds a BA from Bishop’s University, MBA from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University and GP LLM from the University of Toronto. He was the recipient of the Laurier MBA Alumni 2009 Outstanding Executive Leadership Award and the Bishop’s University Top 10 After 10. Mr. Jacob has served on the Boards of several charitable organizations including as Vice Chair of World Wildlife Fund (WWF Canada), Director of Plan International Canada, Past Chair of the Board of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO Maple Leaf) and current Chair of the Board of Nature United (The Nature Conservancy in Canada).

Founder and CEO of Evenor Investments Ltd, a financial advisory group to junior mining companies for alternative financing, debt, equity and M&A with experience on over $2 billion in mining financing transactions throughout his career. Prior global experience as a research analyst as well as in business development and mining financial advisory roles with Endeavour Financial, Cambrian Mining Finance Ltd, Northern Vertex Mining Corp. and King & Bay West Management Corp.
