The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Gladys Warirah as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Standard Chartered Bank Kenya Limited. The appointment is subject to the approval of Lhe Central Bank of Kenya and Lhe Capital Markets Authority and will Lake effect once the approvals are received.

Gladys joined Lhe Bank in 2013 as FinanciaI Controller before moving to Standard Chartered Bank Ma laysia in 2023 where she is currently the Country Treasurer. She has played a key role in delivering Lhe Treasury stra tegy and in buildinga high-performing Treasury Learn. WiLh over 20 years of leadership experience in Treasury, Finance, ConLrollership, and Governance, Gladys brings significant expertise to the role.

Gladys isa former member of the Standard Chartered Kenya Staff Retirement Benefit Scheme Board of Trustees and the National Research Fund Board of Trustees and is a former Chairperson of Lhe Kenya Bankers Association Finance and AudiL Committee. She isa member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) anda Fellow of Lhe InsLituLe of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
