PANGKALPINANG -- PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk and its labor union have officially signed the 2026-2028 Collective Labor Agreement (CLA), reaffirming their shared commitment to safeguarding employee welfare while supporting the Company's sustainability and long-term growth.

The Collective Labor Agreement was signed by PT TIMAH President Director Restu Widiyantoro and Chairman of the Timah Employees Association (IKT), Riki Febriansyah. The signing ceremony was witnessed by PT TIMAH Human Resources Director Ratih Mayasari, Chairman of the Timah Employees Union (PKT) Ahmad Tarmizi, as well as labor union representatives and management officials at Griya Timah on Tuesday (June 9, 2026).

The agreement was the result of an extensive negotiation process that lasted for more than a year. Discussions began in April 2025 and continued through four stages, during which management and labor union representatives successfully aligned their perspectives on various provisions included in the agreement.

PT TIMAH President Director Restu Widiyantoro expressed his appreciation to all members of the negotiation teams from both management and the labor union for their dedication in reaching the agreement.

"Today is a remarkable milestone. I would like to express my appreciation to all members of the negotiation teams from both management and the labor union who worked hard to finalize this Collective Labor Agreement. Since I joined the Company, completing this agreement had been one of the outstanding priorities, and today we have successfully accomplished it together," he said.

According to Restu, no agreement can perfectly accommodate every interest. However, the agreement reached represents a significant step forward that is expected to address the expectations of both parties while supporting the Company's objectives.

He emphasized that the primary goals of both the Company and the labor union are essentially the same: improving employee welfare and enhancing the Company's performance.

"Our goals are straightforward: to improve the welfare of all employees and to enhance the Company's performance through higher production, increased revenue, stronger profitability, and greater contributions to the nation," he said.

Restu also expressed optimism regarding the Company's future business prospects. He noted that PT TIMAH is focused not only on increasing production but also on improving profitability and developing new businesses with higher added value.

"Going forward, the most important objective is not merely increasing production but enhancing the Company's profitability. PT TIMAH still has tremendous business potential, and opportunities to increase revenue remain wide open," he said.

He also encouraged all employees to maintain their enthusiasm, continue developing their competencies, and carry out all activities in accordance with applicable regulations to achieve shared prosperity.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Timah Employees Association (IKT), Riki Febriansyah, stated that the negotiation process, which lasted for more than a year, reflected a shared commitment to improving various provisions that had previously led to differing interpretations within the workplace.

According to him, a clearer and more comprehensive Collective Labor Agreement is expected to foster more harmonious and conducive industrial relations.

"We view the labor union as a strategic partner of the Company. The IKT leadership and labor union representatives strive to contribute their best ideas and efforts to become a source of strength for the Company rather than a burden. We are ready to be at the forefront of supporting PT TIMAH's sustainability and success," he said.

Riki emphasized that the labor union shares the same objective as management: ensuring the Company's sustainability while improving employee welfare.

"We continue to adapt to various challenges and dynamics to safeguard the Company's sustainability. We have one common goal: the sustainability of the Company and the welfare of its employees," he concluded. (*)
