LAVAL, QC, April 10 /CNW Telbec/ - The management of Amex Exploration is pleased to announce the appointment of Michel Lemay to the position of director and Chief Operating Officer for the Company.
Mr. Lemay acquired extensive experience in the management of public corporations during his tenure at Arenagold Resources (1996-2000), Searchgold Resources (2000-2001) and Ressources Mirabel (2001-2003). He is currently the head of Stellar Pacific Ventures - a role he assumed in 2003.
Mr. Lemay worked as a manager for various private companies from 1974 to 1994, and was subsequently a consultant specializing in logistics and the management of mining projects in West Africa and Canada.
He has participated in a number of trade missions abroad, particularly to West Africa, Central Africa and China.
In joining the team, Mr. Lemay will prove to be a significant asset to the Company as it works to complete various exploration projects and realize its development strategy.
The management of Amex Exploration Inc. wishes to announce the resignation of Michel Rathe, who has served as a Company director and Vice-President, Finance, as well as on the Company's Audit Committee. Management also wishes to thank Mr. Rathe for his many years of service to Amex Exploration Inc. and wishes him every success as he continues his career.
