Notification of change of company secretary of MECURE Industries Plc

LAGOS: July 31, 2025

Mecure Industries Plc (the "Company" or "MeCure") wishes to inform the Nigerian Exchange Limited ("NGX"), the Company's shareholders and the investing public of a change in its Company Secretariat.

The Board of Directors of the Company (the "Board") has accepted the resignation of the firm of Banwo & Ighodalo as the Company Secretary, effective July 30, 2025. The Board and Management of the Company express their sincere appreciation to Banwo & Ighodalo for their dedicated service and valuable contribution over the years.

Following the approval of the Board, the Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Olawale Babatunde Ibitoye as its new Company Secretary, effective July 30, 2025.

As Company Secretary, Mr. Ibitoye will provide guidance to the Board and Management on corporate governance matters and ensure the Company's compliance with all applicable regulatory, legal and governance obligations.

Mr. Ibitoye was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2012 and is a well-groomed legal practitioner with over a decade of experience spanning litigation, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contracts, corporate transactions, personnel management and company secretarial practice. He holds an LL.B degree from the University of Ado-Ekiti (now Ekiti State University) and an LL.M from the University of Lagos. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM). Prior to joining the Company, he served as the Group Legal & Compliance Manager of Vitafoam Nigeria Plc.

The Board and Management welcome Mr. Ibitoye to the Company and look forward to working with him in furtherance of the Company's strategic objectives.
