MISSISSAUGA, ON, June 21 /CNW/ - Luxell Technologies Inc. (TSX: LUX) reports that it has successfully passed the Critical Design Review ("CDR") for two special ruggedized 12.1 military displays for use on the Airbus A400M.
The CDR is a customer approved milestone that reviews the design, documentation, and evaluation data. CDR represents both a major program and payment milestone. To support the CDR, Luxell had provided 10 prototype units for evaluation that demonstrated excellent performance, exceeding critical requirements. The CDR acceptance clears the way for Luxell to deliver pre- production units to its client - one of the world's top suppliers of defense technology and security equipment.
The new displays are the Video Display (VDU) and Multi-functional Display (MFD) and are used in the Loadmaster Workstation (LMWS) for the A400M.
The Airbus A400M is a new generation of military transport that carry cargo loads that include armoured combat vehicles, artillery, helicopters, excavators and dump trucks.
This latest product success enables Luxell to add another maintenance and mission application oriented display to the company's line of ruggedized flat panel products.
