VANCOUVER, Feb. 16 /CNW/ - Ross River Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: RRM) (the
"Company") is pleased to announce that it has signed a further amendment to
its letter agreement with Kennecott Exploration Company extending the date for
completion of a formal agreement from February 15, 2006 to April 5, 2006.
The Company has to date completed nine drill holes of a planned 3,000
metre program on the El Pulpo copper project. Copper mineralization and
extensive alteration has been encountered in all holes drilled to date.
