In compliance with Regulation 6 of the Listed Companies (Corporate Governance) Regulations, 2019 and Clause 5.6.1(a) of the PSX Rule Book, we hereby intorm you that the Board of Directors of Habib Rice Products Limited, in its meeting held on February 16, 2026, has appointed Mr. Faisal Adamjee as an Independent Director of the Company to fill the casual vacancy caused by the resignation ofDr. Salma Habib (Non-Executive Director).
The appointment shall be effective from February 16, 2026 and Mr. Faisal Adamjee shall hold of'tice for the remaining term of the outgoing director.
Mr. Faisal Adamjee meets the criteria of independence as prescribed under section 166 of the Companies Act, 2017 and Regulation 6 of the Listed Companies (Code of Corporate Governance) Regulations, 2019.
