Consolidated sales increased 3.9% year-on-year, driven by continued growth in the Americas and Europe. Consolidated operating profit increased significantly by 27.1% year-on-year, driven by improved profitability primarily in overseas regions. While the operating profit progress rate at the end of the second quarter was 60.2%, operating profit is expected to converge to some extent in the second half, reflecting the traditional tendency for higher first-half performance. We will continue to closely monitor market conditions in each region, including developments in U.S. tariff policies. The regional overview is as follows.
