Former public company CFO, Paul Haber will contribute strong financial
and accounting anchor to the Board
TORONTO, April 29 /CNW/ - SilverBirch Inc. (TSX.V: SVB), a leading digital media company, is pleased to announce that Mr. Paul Haber has agreed to join its Board of Directors. Mr. Haber is currently an independent consultant and sits on several public company boards. His past experience includes Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of a TSX Venture listed manufacturer of equipment for the broadcast industry, prior to which he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of a subsidiary of a TSX listed global health services company.
Mr. Haber is a Chartered Accountant who brings senior financial experience as well as a successful track record for growing companies from a strategic, operational and financial standpoint. Mr. Haber currently sits on the Boards, and Chairs the Audit Committees, of TSX listed South American Silver Corporation and High Desert Gold, adding greatly to his already significant experience in public company governance.

Mr. Haber's compensation will include the standard award of 100,000 Director's common share options, granted at the April 25th, 2008 closing price of $0.45.
