Orders Include Components From Its Newly Acquired Eagle Product Line TORONTO, Nov. 17 /CNW/ -- ComnetiX(TM) Inc (Toronto: CXI), a leading provider of biometric identification and authentication solutions, announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, ComnetiX(TM) SE, received orders from five counties in Georgia to supply its software-centric solutions, including Comnetix's server solution -- IntelliServ(TM). Valued at approximately US $206,000, the orders also include the jail management system (JMS) and record management system (RMS) components from the Company's newly acquired EagleAdvantage product line. Once complete, the installations will serve Jefferson, Thomas, Calhoun, Appling and Barrow Counties. James P. Scullion, Comnetix CEO, said, "Given that these orders come as a result of our acquisition of Paragon Total Solutions, I am pleased to be able to say that these installations include the Eagle-brand jail and record management systems. These orders are among the first to include the modules from our more robust suite of software; we expect interoperability between the systems to be seamless as our own software is written using open architecture, specifically to accommodate easy integration between disparate systems. We're happy to supply these law-enforcement organizations with our solutions and look forward to working with them." ComnetiX SE was established as a result of the acquisition of Carrollton, GA-based Paragon Total Solutions Inc, which operated primarily throughout the Southeast US. The Company continues its sales efforts and is maintaining its success in the Southeast established by Paragon. About IntelliServ(TM) ComnetiX(TM) leads the biometric industry with its versatile Open Image Server technology, known as IntelliServ(TM). This contemporary database technology expands capabilities well beyond traditional transient "Store and Forward" (S&F) systems by providing a full range of functionality from record queuing to archival storage of records in standards compliant format. The IntelliServ system is designed to intercede in the work flow between civil applicant and booking workstations (where fingerprints, photos, signatures and document images are captured) and the back-end Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems (AFIS) at central agency sites. ComnetiX IntelliServ normally accepts NIST encoded electronic submissions from remote capture workstations and stores all of the received images and text according to open standards. It can then deliver fingerprint records to one or more AFIS hosts and retain records to make them available for secure agency data sharing and ad hoc investigation support.
