Opportunities for Raising Capital through BEAM and the Regulated Market of the BSE

· Issued by Bulgarian Stock Exchange-sofia
The opportunities to raise capital through the Bulgarian capital market, as well as practical advice on conducting a successful initial public offering, were shared during Gravity MeetUp III - the third strategic meeting of the sixth edition of the beamUp lab programme.

"The beam growth market plays a key role in reviving the capital market in Bulgaria. Traditionally, the most interesting part of these beamUp lab programme meetings is the companies' presentations and the feedback they receive from investors. During the third meeting of the programme, experts from the Bulgarian Stock Exchange shared the opportunities for businesses to raise financing without a prospectus and without having to go through the approval procedure before the Financial Supervision Commission," said Assoc. Prof. Dr Manyu Moravenov, BSE Executive Director.

The challenges on the path to the beam market, the specifics of the preparation process, and the listing benefits were discussed in a panel by the BSE, its members, and several companies with successful IPOs: Boleron - Aleksandar Tsvetkov, Founder and CEO; HR Capital - Hristo Hristov, CEO; Sofia International Securities - Martin Radosvetov, CEO.

Radoslav Zhelyazkov, Director of Listing and Membership at the BSE, presented to the participating companies the advantages of listing on the Exchange, the necessity and transparency of information disclosure to investors, as well as the services the Exchange offers to the issuers.

Another important highlight of the meeting was, as expected, the session during which the companies delivered their investor pitch presentations. The following companies participated:

MYX is a technology company specialising in the development of software solutions for the management of large-scale asset networks, in combining digital twin technology with artificial intelligence-based analytics. The company places a particular focus on the telecommunications infrastructure sector (the so-called TowerCos).

Biokom is a Bulgarian company focused on recycling used mattresses as part of the development of the circular economy and sustainable waste management. The company, founded by Gena Sabeva, creator of the VIT - Mattress Exchange franchise brand, operates through its subsidiary Rematrak AD. The company has a recycling facility in the village of Petarch, where mattresses suitable for material reuse are processed, and it also manages the transportation logistics.

Aladin Foods is a leading Bulgarian fast-food chain with more than 30 locations across the country and over 500 employees, recognised as one of the most dynamic companies in the street food segment. The company offers a diverse menu including doner kebabs, burgers, pizza, chicken, and Asian dishes, combining speed with affordable prices and fresh products.

BuzKo is a Bulgarian company specialising in the production, trade, and distribution of natural herbal and fruit syrups and jams. Following the philosophy "no preservatives, no colourings, no added flavours," the company focuses on a healthy lifestyle without compromising on taste. The company was established in 2015 by founders Dimitar Nikolov and Slavey Dimov and already offers nearly 20 flavours in more than 10,000 points of sale across 13 Bulgarian regions.

The event traditionally brings together representatives of the 20 participating companies selected for the sixth edition of the beamUp lab programme, as well as its partners and consultants.

The meeting moderator was Zhana Hristova, the beam market manager.
