Funding now available for companies seeking to list on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange

· Issued by Bulgarian Stock Exchange-sofia
A programme worth nearly EUR 1 million gives businesses the opportunity to raise funding through the capital market. The Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) and the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA) have launched a joint project to improve businesses' access to funding through the capital market.

The project covers 90% of the costs incurred by companies for preparation and listing. The funding is intended to support around 20 companies, which will be able to apply over the next three years.

The programme is aimed at companies planning to raise funding and have their securities traded on the BSE regulated market, the BEAM SME Growth Market or the SpaceCrowd crowdfunding platform. Successful applicants may receive support covering the costs of consultancy, legal and accounting services, the full preparation of an initial public offering - including the preparation of a prospectus and an investor marketing campaign - as well as fees payable to the Exchange, the Financial Supervision Commission and the Central Depository.
