Boxxer Locates New Gold Bearing Intrusive and Copper Skarn at Crystal Pass

· Issued by Exgen Resources Inc.

Jul. 22, 2010 (Filing Services Canada) -- Boxxer Gold Corp. (BXX - TSX Venture), is  pleased to provide an update on exploration results on the Crystal Pass portion of Boxxer's 100% owned Boss porphyry copper-gold project located in the Goodsprings Mining District, southwest Nevada.

Highlights:

* Grab sample assays returned up to 2.99% copper and 40.8 g/t silver from
  surface on a large copper skarn located at the south end of the Crystal
  Pass project;
* A monzodiorite dike located within close proximity to one of the IP
  targets to be diamond drilled at Crystal Pass returned 0.10 (g/t) gold;
* The Bureau of Land Management ("BLM") has requested a 15-day extension
  to complete the field review for the amended Notice of Work regarding
  approval of Boxxer's proposed 8,000 metre (m) diamond drilling program
  due to BLM staff shortages.

Boxxer's President and CEO, Elmer B. Stewart, explained, "The recent exploration at Crystal Pass clearly indicates a complex intrusive history and the development of a large copper skarn provides us with a better understanding of the porphyry copper potential of the District. We continue to await the results of the Quantec DCIP and MT survey on the Rose area where sampling returned good copper-gold-molybdenum values to build our model. We are eager to commence drilling and hopefully there will no further delays regarding the BLM."

Diamond Drilling Program:

Approval from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for the 8,000 m diamond drilling program on the Boss project has been delayed due to staff shortages. The BLM has requested a 15-day extension in order to complete the necessary review.  An update will be provided on the commencement of the proposed diamond drilling program on receipt of information from the BLM.

Crystal Pass:

A copper skarn is exposed on surface over an area of 20 m by 30 m and in a decline on a patented mineral claim that is surrounded by Boxxer's Crystal Pass claims.  The mineralized zone dips to the north onto the Boxxer claims.  Two characterization samples were collected from the skarn exposed in the decline which assayed 2.99% copper and 40.8 g/t silver, and 1.04% copper and 48.1 g/t silver. These samples show an arsenic-bismuth-cobalt-nickel-antimony geochemical signature.  The presence of the copper skarn, the geophysical targets and the geologic environment substantially upgrades the copper potential the Crystal Pass area.

Outcrops of four new intrusives have been located, ranging in composition from monzodiorite to syentite; one sample is characterized as foidoite.  The three samples that range from monzodiorite to syenite in composition are peraluminous, and contain high strontium and sulphur and low titanium concentrations, features typical of intrusive rocks that occur in porphyry districts.

Sample Preparation and Analysis:

All select samples were collected with a hammer and chisel and represent either the style of copper mineralization exposed in outcrop or the material to be sampled.  Sample weights ranged from 0.2 to 3.5 kilograms. All samples were prepared by Loring Laboratories (Alberta) Ltd. in Calgary, Alberta using a 0.5 gram sample and a three acid total digestion. A 30 element Induced Couple Plasma ("ICP") analysis was completed on all samples. Gold, platinum and palladium values were determined using a fire assay with ICP finish on a 30 gram sample.  Copper values over 10,000 parts per million were assayed. Silver values were determined by nitric acid digestion on a 0.5 gram sample with an atomic absorption finish. Loring's quality control system complies with the requirements for the International Standards ISO 9001:2008. Analytical accuracy and precision are monitored by the use of international and in-house standards.

Quality Control:

Boxxer follows a rigorous Quality Assurance/Quality Control program consisting of inserting blanks and duplicates into the sample stream submitted to the laboratory for analysis.

Elmer B. Stewart, MSc. P. Geol., President of Boxxer, is the Corporation's nominated Qualified Person pursuant to National Instrument #43-101, Standards for Disclosure for Mineral Projects, has reviewed the technical information disclosed in this news release.
