Sep. 14, 2010 (Filing Services Canada) -- Boxxer Gold Corp. (BXX - TSX Venture), ("Boxxer" or the "Corporation") is very pleased to announce that Mary Webster has agreed to join Boxxer's board of directors.
Ms. Webster has extensive corporate and financial experience together with her mining exploration background, which ranges from grassroots to advanced resource development projects. Two career highlights were serving as the Exploration Manager of the major, advanced-stage multibillion-dollar Windy Craggy deposit of northwest British Columbia; and as President of Liberty Mines Inc., a public company which she relocated to Timmins, Ontario in order to launch it as a nickel producer.
Additionally, Ms. Webster is a mining analyst, having practiced with several Toronto-based financial institutions including Kingsdale Capital, MineralFields and Max Capital Markets in recent years.
Boxxer also regrets to announce that Colin Christensen is stepping down as a director of Boxxer but will continue in his current role as Vice-President Corporate Development.

In connection with this appointment, the Corporation has granted Mary P. Webster 1,000,000 options to purchase common shares at $0.10 per share for a period of three years, within the vesting provisions of the Corporation's Stock Option Plan. This grant of options is subject to approval by the TSX Venture Exchange.
