Eric Balmer has extensive experience in corporate banking. During a career spanning more than 28 years, he has worked with most client segments, from SMEs to large Swiss companies with an international reach. He led various Credit Suisse entities in Lausanne, Zurich and New York before becoming Chief Executive & Managing Director of Global Supply Chain Finance in Zug. He holds a Master's degree in law from the University of Fribourg and a PhD in law from the University of Lausanne.
The Corporate Banking & Trade Finance division covers companies in Switzerland and France, multinationals, and partners active in real estate and construction. The division also serves public authorities and includes the entire commodities trading segment. The Capital Transmission and Dimension subsidiaries, as well as BCGE France, are part of this division.
