Appointment of Group Chief Financial Officer
AB Dynamics plc has announced the appointment of Edward Haycock as Group Chief Financial Officer, effective December 1, 2026, following a handover period. Haycock, currently the Group's Director of Financial Reporting and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, has been with the company for two years and previously held finance roles at Chemring Group plc. 1 July 2026 AB Dynamics plc Appointment of Group Chief Financial Officer AB Dynamics plc ("AB Dynamics", the "Company" or the "Group"), the designer, manufacturer and supplier of advanced testing, simulation and measurement products to the global transport market, is delighted to announce the appointment of Edward Haycock as Group Chief Financial Officer. Ed will join the Board as Group Finance Director on 1 September 2026 and following a handover period with the Interim Chief Financial Officer, Andrew Lewis, will take up his new role effective from 1 December 2026, following the publication of the Group's financial results for the year ending 31 August 2026. Ed is currently the Group's Director of Financial Reporting and has been an instrumental part of the leadership team at AB Dynamics since joining two years ago. Ed has led a number of finance, management, strategic and commercial initiatives within the business, building on valuable experience from his previous role within a large listed international manufacturing business. Following an extensive search process, the Board considers Ed to be the standout candidate to lead the finance function through the next phase of the Company's development, and to support in the delivery of the medium-term growth aspirations the Group has previously set out. Ed is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and after a period in professional practice spent six years at Chemring Group plc in a variety of finance roles, latterly as Group Financial Controller.
