of "ARIADNE INTERCONNECTION S.P.S.A." to State Grid
The "SOCIETE ANONYME ADMIE (I.P.T.O.) HOLDING", with the distinctive title "A.D.M.I.E. (I.P.T.O.) HOLDING S.A." (or "Company"), informs investors that the Board of Directors of I.P.T.O. has confirmed the sale of 20% of its subsidiary company, "Ariadne Interconnection S.P.S.A.", to State Grid International Development Belgium Ltd, which had submitted a binding, improved offer in the tender.
About the "ARIADNE INTERCONNECTION S.P.S.A."
"Ariadne Interconnection S.P.S.A." is the implementing body of the Attica-Crete electricity interconnection, one of Greece's largest and most complex electricity transmission projects and one of the three deepest marine interconnections worldwide.
The construction part of the project has been completed, laying all submarine electrical (500kV) and optical cables, while the cabling and installation of outdoor equipment are in the final stage.
The electrification of the cable will begin on a trial basis in early 2025 and will be operational by next summer.
