Mark Scott

Mark Scott joined Sassy Resources as its founding CEO following a twenty year career with Noranda, Inco Limited and Vale. Mark was most recently Vice President of Vale Canada and Head of its Manitoba Operations, overseeing all aspects of the operation from regional exploration to reclamation for three underground mines, fully integrated processing including mill, smelter and refinery, and all associated technical and support services. Mr. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Dalhousie University, a Master of Industrial Relations (MIR) degree from the University of Toronto and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management (MCPM) from the Schulich School of Business (York University) and the University of Winnipeg.
Roger Moss

A geologist with fourteen years international experience in the exploration industry. Dr. Moss was instrumental in the discovery of the Navachab gold deposit in Namibia which, after 12 years of operation, still contains reserves and resources of 3.7 million oz gold. He has conducted extensive research on hydrothermal ore deposits, culminating with a Ph.D. in geology at the University of Toronto in 2000. Prior to joining Nikos, Dr. Moss was Vice President, Exploration for Amerigo Resources Ltd.
Richard Goldfarb

Richard J. Goldfarb, PhD, is a globally recognized expert on orogenic gold deposits having served 36 years with the U.S. Geological Survey’s Mineral Resources Program. Dr. Goldfarb is a Research Professor at the Colorado School of Mines; Adjunct Professor, University of Western Australia; and a Distinguished Overseas Professor at China University of Geosciences, Beijing, China, as well as a private consultant.
Dr. Goldfarb obtained his PhD Geology from the University of Colorado and is the recipient of many awards from scientific organizations around the world. He is a Fellow and Ex-President of the Society of Economic Geologists and an Honorary Lifetime Member of the Society for Geology Applied to Mineral Deposits. He has senior authored or co-authored more than 225 papers and delivered over 200 presentations in 31 countries.

Experience includes the Colomac mine in Northwest territories (Nighthawk), and the Hammond Reef project in Atikokan Ontario (Osisko). Various consulting work throughout Canada, including British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
