Mr. Bataa Tumur-Ochir is a Mongolian national that that serves as CEO and Director of Steppe Gold, responsible for new business acquisitions, development and government and community relations. He is also responsible for Steppe Gold’s daily operations in Mongolia. Bataa has over 10 years of experience in the mining industry, and is an advisor to Mongolias Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and graduate certificates in international business and marketing from Australia and Singapore.

He has over 35 years of experience in M&A, including senior positions in investment banking at Deutsche Bank, NatWest Markets and Deloitte. Speaker 2: Thank you very much. Speaker 2: Okay, Speaker 2: so I'll go through the Speaker 2: current updates. Speaker 2: So it's been a very challenging year with the COVID lockdowns and travel restrictions but luckily we don't have any COVID cases at the site. All of our employees including contractors Speaker 2: are Speaker 3: fully vaccinated plus we do follow strict safety protocols for all site visitors Speaker 2: and 17 quarantine period. Speaker 2: So this helped us to prevent the spread of COVID on site and we're continuing our operations without any delays Speaker 2: related directly to the COVID situations. Speaker 2: But the main issue we've been facing during the summer was bringing reagents from China into Mongolia. Speaker 2: The storage facility for dangerous goods at the Erlian border city in China Speaker 2: closed for the maintenance reasons, Speaker 2: and all the dangerous goods to Mongolia are on hold right now.
