But without further ado, Rick, can you provide an update on the Manchot Project and why the name changed from Pete Gold? [00:32] Speaker 2: Sure, Dasha, good to see you again. [00:35] Speaker 2: Yeah, so just the name change on to Manchurian, it's an Athabascan name [00:40] Speaker 2: and after discussions with the [00:42] Speaker 2: Tetlin tribe, [00:43] Speaker 2: we decided to, in honor of representing, you know, their [00:48] Speaker 2: tribe, [00:49] Speaker 2: to switch the name over to an Athabascan name. It's actually specifically an upper Tanana [00:54] Speaker 2: Athabascan name, so there's a lot of dialects in the Athabascan language. So [00:58] Speaker 2: it represents, [01:00] Speaker 2: refers to the large lake, which is called Tetlin Lake in English, but in their language it's Pancho. [01:06] Speaker 2: And it's obviously, the village is located right adjacent to the lake and very important subsistence lake for them. So in [01:15] Speaker 2: of the lake and the importance to them, [01:17] Speaker 2: we're re-named the project to that. [01:20] Speaker 2: Fortunately, the project isn't really next to the lake, it's on the other side of their land holdings to the north and [01:27] Speaker 2: everything that's related to the project basically drains to the north.
